Ohio State Tournament The Ohio State Tournament was held September 6 - 7, 2003, in Brookpark, Ohio. Congratulations to Alex Moiseyev for becoming the new Ohio State Champion! A new trophy was introduced this year. Jason Solan won the "B" Class (player nos. 6 - 11). Special acknowledgement goes to Bob Murr for joining us all the way from Colorado. $500 in prizes were awarded. Donations were received from Joe LoConti ($300), Bill Schumann ($50), and Richard Beckwith ($40). Checker players that visited the tourney include Bill Schumann, Terry Mazzocco, Vince DeLong, and Ken Millhone.
